Olympia Aldersey is a Junior World and Youth Olympic rower from Adelaide, South Australia.[1] In 2010 in her 1st year of international competition Aldersey won a bronze medal at the Junior Worlds and Silver at the Youth Olympics with fellow South Australian Emma Basher.[2]
Aldersey rows for the Torrens Rowing Club and competed in the 2009 Australian Youth Olympic Festival [3] where she won gold in the women's Coxless Pair and Eight and Silver in the Coxless Four.[4]
Aldersey was named Olympia by her parents as she was born during the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.[1] As of 2010 she is a student of St Peter's Girls School.[5] In July 2011 Olympia competed at the u/23 World Championships to come 4th in the A Final in the pair.[6]
